We are excited to announce the MC2MC Connect 2027 event, taking place on Thursday February 4th, 2027, once again at Bluepoint Antwerpen!
We can cover travel expenses within Europe up to €450, and outside of Europe up to €1,750. Additionally, BeNeLux speakers can have one hotel night covered, while non-BeNeLux speakers receive two hotel nights.
This call for speakers will be open until October 15th, 2026. We aim to provide feedback on whether one of your sessions has been picked by November 1st, 2026.
When picked, we invite you to join us at the speaker dinner on Wednesday, February 3rd. On the day of the event (February 4th), travel between the hotel and the venue is provided by us between 6 AM and 10 AM, and between 4 PM and 8 PM.
Please make sure that each session you submit has a well-written abstract that matches your title. Also make sure to add key takeaways for your session, and to indicate whether your session is brand new or not. Regarding the level classification, we try to objectively define what each session must contain in order for it to qualify as a certain level. Please refer to the definitions below:
– Intermediate (200): For attendees who already know the fundamentals and use the technology, but want to get better at it. Content should include configuration examples, standard scenarios, best practices, common pitfalls, and demos or examples.
– Advanced (300): For attendees who work with the technology regularly and want depth they can’t easily get from documentation alone. Content should include complex configurations, real-world scenarios, architecture, edge cases, trade-offs and non-obvious behavior. Demos should be non-trivial and can include code, queries, or live problem solving.
– Expert (400): For specialists who want frontier, internals-level material. Content should include internals, undocumented or emergent behavior, deep architecture, original research, and pushing the technology beyond its intended limits. Demos should be heavy and code-first deep dives rather than overviews.
